Wynnum Manly Tourism & Visitor Information Centre
Manly is a suburb of Brisbane and is located approximately 16km east of the Brisbane CBD. Surrounding suburbs are Wynnum (to the north), Lota (to the south) and Manly West (to the west). To the east lies Moreton Bay.
Wynnum Manly Tourism & Visitor Information Centre (MIC as it is affectionately known) supports the local and wider community through promotion of local business to residents and visitors to the area. The centre is sponsored by the Manly Chamber of Commerce Inc. with the village centre and marina being the focal point for local commerce. WMT & VIC is centrally located in Manly Harbour Village (43A Cambridge Parade), a place where old world character and charm sits comfortably beside present day chic, right on the edge of picturesque Moreton Bay.
The local community commenced operating the centre in 1999 to supply visitor information to the many visitors to Manly Harbour Village. It is now an accredited Information Centre with Tourism Queensland and proudly displays the yellow ‘italicized’ i sign.
Services offered include: Tour and acccommodation bookings; advice on "Things to see and do"; maps, guides and brochures; public access Internet and Email; faxing; scanning; printing and train and bus timetables.
The Visitor Information Centre is CLOSED on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and Good Friday. On Public Holidays the Centre is open from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm.
